ABOUT THE PROJECT
In 2020, Coast Mountain Timber Frames completed the installation and fabrication of a new Longhouse facility for the Ch’íyáqtel (Tzeachten) First Nation. This project serves as a vital community space designed for large gatherings, showcasing our expertise in specialized log and timber work. The building features three outdoor covered areas that enhance its functionality and connection to the natural environment. Inside, the use of glulam beams adds strength and character to the space, ensuring it meets the needs of the community for years to come. Coast Mountain Timber Frames is proud to contribute to the cultural heritage and community development of the Ch’íyáqtel First Nation through our commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
