In 2023, Coast Mountain Timber Frames executed the installation of mass timber for the Student Housing Residence at Selkirk College in Castlegar, BC. This project showcased our precision craftsmanship in installing CLT panels for superior structural integrity and glulam posts and beams for exceptional strength. The residence is designed for efficiency and accommodates 114 students. It includes a mass-timber common area along with essential amenities, such as spacious kitchens, study rooms, and meeting areas. The installation was completed with a focus on durability and quality, ensuring a solid foundation for student living. Additionally, a covered walkway connects the new building to existing facilities, enhancing the functionality of the campus.
